A San Diego-based family barbershop in the La Mesa area. Royal Kutz welcomes all ages, races, and genders. The owner is the only barber I've trusted with my hair (beside myself) for the past 14 years; I felt somewhat serendipitous about these flyers being my first commission.

Based in Grand Rapids, MI, a podcast about being a 'person of color' (PoC) in a ‘Red’ state. The speakers (my mother, Roya, and her friend Danielle) asked me to give their logo a ‘facelift.' The original design can be seen to the left, below, the revised on the right.

If you notice, Cyrus has three legs! This lovable pup continues to bring laughter and light to every environment – now, FROM the environment, as well!
